This Fashion Week I had the honor of walking for Happy Fish. Happy Fish is designed by Sami Chen, from Taiwan, and was presented at the Rolls Royce Luxury Event at Manhattan Motorcars. Her line has been described as, "inspirational and angelic to match her demeanor" and "Sami’s love of life and colors shines in her creations leaving everyone wanting to be a HappyFish, or at least wearing one!". I can honestly say that in working with Sami, these quotes could not be more true!
Not only does Sami design gorgeous dresses, and clothing, but also children's and dog clothing! My dog, Felicity, also got to be a part of the show as well, and rocked the runway in a cobblestone design, stretch gold lema, with a matching bow tie choker.
For my look, I wore a sleek black leather tank and mini skirt, with a bold red jacket with gold buttons, and gold trim embellishments, complemented by a leather choker.
For the makeup and hair, I felt like the artists created a look that gave me the feeling of a fierce samurai warrior with Amy Winehouse style. I had the thickest, boldest eyeliner with a simple nude lip, and a tight slicked back pony on the top of my head.
The show flowed well, as each model glided out onto the runway while the crowd jammed to the dj, and live music. Each of us stopped for a pose in front of the gorgeous, sleek black Rolls Royce parked in the middle of the runway, and then made our way down towards the press and looped back. The crowd was fun, lively, and into all the spectacular designs by Sami.
Thank you so much Sami for having me in your show, and I can honestly say I am one "Happy Fish" after wearing your collection!
