My Top 3 Morning Smoothies

Good morning everyone! This week I will be sharing with you my top 3 smoothie recipes. I have experimented a lot with my recipes, and these made the cut to be featured on my blog! They are thick, creamy, healthy, and naturally sweet! There are no added sugars, or sweeteners in my smoothies. They are naturally and subtly sweet from the delicious fruit used in my recipes. Using fruit to sweeten a dish is as natural as you can get, and your body will be much more accepting of it rather than adding sugar, sugary yogurts, honeys, or artificial sweeteners to flavor your smoothies. Also, each of these recipes can be sipped on if your on the go, or made into a bowl and topped with more fruit, cereal, or whatever else you want! Experiment, and have fun with it! Enjoy! xo

 

Number 1: 

Almond Butter Banana Smoothie

Ingredients:

  • 1/2 cup steamed then frozen cauliflower 

  • 3/4 cup non fat chobani Greek yogurt

  • 1/3 cup unsweetened vanilla almond milk

  • 1 small frozen banana

  • 2 tbsp almond butter or pb2

  • 2 prunes 

  • 1 tbsp unsweetened cacao powder


Directions: 

Combine all ingredients above in a blender (I use a Magic Bullet. Click here to buy yours from Amazon!), and garnish and serve!

 

Number 2:

Blueberry Cauliflower Smoothie

Ingredients:

  • 1/2c steamed then frozen cauliflower

  • 1 frozen banana

  • 3/4-1c fresh blueberries

  • 3/4c chobani nonfat Greek yogurt

  • 1/3c unsweetened almond milk

 

  • Optional toppings:

  • Sliced strawberries

  • One small sliced kiwi

  • Pb2

  • 1/4c fiberone original bran cereal

Directions:

Combine all ingredients above in a blender, and serve! Also, you may serve this as a bowl or smoothie, and top it with what ever else you may want.

 

Number 3:

Classic Greens

Ingredients:

  • 1c spinach

  • 1/2 frozen banana

  • 1/2c almond milk (unsweetened)

  • 1/2c steamed then frozen cauliflower

  • 3/4c Chobani nonfat Greek yogurt

  • 1 chopped and diced apple

  • a dash of cinnamon

Directions:

Combine all ingredients above and enjoy!
