Mind Body Ballet

One of my Campbell model sisters, Tracy Ripsin, recently started a fitness program called Mind Body Ballet. Her class approaches a ballet type work out from more of a fitness stand point, than you would find in a traditional ballet class. Additionally, the session combines yoga and weights so that you get a good stretch along with a bit of a "burn" that will tone you right up! The class was very laid back, yet, challenging and I could tell I was working and isolating all the right muscles. I have been dancing ballet for over 12 years now, and I had ankle surgery at the end of last year, so I have not been able to dance quite as much as I normally used to. That being said, this class was great for getting back in touch with my body. I enjoyed exploring this great new class and squeezing in a workout before my next flight, and it helped me find my "zen" during this busy season! Even if you are not a dancer, I highly recommend signing up for a class using the Mind Body App (link below & search Uptown Myotherapy) and trying out a class. I guarantee you will enjoy it and take away something very beneficial...
